Conquer your Engagement Session Fears

Engagement sessions are a very important part of the wedding planning process and should not be skipped no matter how awkward you might feel you should try to conquer your engagement session fears.

Usually when a couple decides not to do an engagement session it is because they don’t like having their photo taken… but I think that is the main reason you should do a session with your wedding photographer.

• An engagement session gives you and your photographer the chance to get to know each other better.
• You will feel more comfortable being in front of the camera.
• Your photographer will have a better idea of the types of poses that work best for you.

Plus after the session you will have some really nice photos together that you can use for decorations at showers or your reception. You can include them in Thank You cards or on your invitation. It is also nice to have photos together that aren’t formal wedding photos. Include something personal to make the photos extra special and show a little of your personalities.
